Chatham Bowlerama started off as Sunset Lanes in 1959. It changed hands in the early ’80’s and became part of the Bowlerama chain of bowling centres. Things remained this way until we purchased the building recently.

We featuring the following:

• 24 Pro-Lane synthetic lanes (14- 5pin lanes, 10 tenpin lanes)
• Computerized scoring
• A full-service snack bar
• Cosmic bowling (glow-in-the-dark)
• Licensed under LLBO

For cosmic bowling,  Bowlers are encouraged to wear white or neon-coloured clothes (shows up great under black lights)

We offer a great venue for fund-raising. We’ve hosted fund-raisers for Big Brothers/Sisters, Crime-Stoppers, Kids Help Phone and Breast Cancer Research to name a few. Sports teams, schools and churches have also used our knowledge and our facility to raise money.

Birthday parties are a big part of our business. Approximately 2,500 kids will be guests at a birthday party this year. Bowling, shoe rental, food & drink and hats/balloons are all included in the package. Bumper bowling can be included at no extra cost. Minimum 2 week notice is encouraged.

We accept (and encourage) reservations for bookings of any size.

Everyone is welcome, we offer programs for men, women, mixed adult, seniors & children. We have a league for blind bowlers. We offer several programs for special needs.

For the record, our children’s league is one of the largest in Ontario. Great coaches/volunteers!

We have a pro shop on site where bowlers can purchase balls, bags, shoes etc.
